The Chihuahua gives all it’s loyalty to one owner making it a very good companion dog. Courageous, extremely lively, proud and enterprising, it gives and demands affection. Bold with a saucy expression is in equal part due to the eye size and the ever-playful nature of the breed. It moves swiftly to avoid being stepped on. Chihuahua’s are strong-willed, intensely loyal and become very attached to their owners.
The model, Toby, is a beloved part of the founder of Rescue Ruffs family and is currently being treated for cancer. 10% of all print sales from this image goes to Rescue Ruffs a foster home for rescue dogs from local rescue organizations that save dogs of all ages and breeds from remote shelters across the country.
