Selected to exhibit in the 22nd Annual Colorado Governor's Art Show, Loveland
Museum, Loveland, CO April-May 2013. Opening Gala April 27, 2013 (reserve tickets)
The Governors Art Show’s concept dates back to 1978 when Loveland Sculptor George
Lundeen envisioned a sculpture show in the community and invited other sculptors to
show their pieces in his home. Eventually, The Loveland Rotary and, later, the
Thompson Valley Rotary became involved and the Rotary Sculpture Show was
conceived. The show first took place at the old First National Bank Building in Loveland.
The Rotary clubs and other volunteers expanded the show to include paintings and
eventually moved it to the Loveland Museum Gallery in downtown Loveland. As
Loveland’s reputation as an art community grew, so did the art show. In 1990, the
show became the Governor’s Invitational Art Show, enhancing the reputation of the
show and to reflect the state-wide inclusion of artists.

Please support by bidding at the 9th annual "Art for Life" event hosted by Project Angel Heart and
Saks Galleries, held at the Artwork Network in Denver. This year's donation is "Plain View no.31".
"The organization was founded in 1991 by a small but dedicated group of individuals who were determined to ensure that those living
with HIV/AIDS and other life-threatening illnesses were receiving proper nutrition. Initially we served 12 clients from a single pan of
lasagna that had been donated by a local restaurateur. Since that time it has grown into an organization which harnesses the dedication
and energy of more than 40,000 volunteer hours annually to freshly prepare, package and home deliver over 400,000 meals to
approximately 1,700 clients each year. The most common diseases served by Project Angel Heart are cancer, end stage renal disease,
HIV/AIDS, chronic obstructive pulmonary diseases and congestive heart failure. Over half of our clients are women and nearly half are
over the age of sixty. Throughout the past eighteen years of unprecedented growth, our focus has always remained the same:
providing life-sustaining nutrition to men, women, and children coping with life-threatening illnesses, free of charge. Each year Project
Angel Heart has a series of high profile fund raisers and the one which I champion/provide leadership and financial support of is "Art For
Life". M. O'Donnell
